Maverick Magazine

This is an illustration I did for a magazine called "The Maverick". I was commissioned to do an illustration for an article about human trafficking and overcoming the challenges that come with it. It was a fun project because the brief specified that the content of the illustration should not look too dark or disturbing, even though the content of the article was. I illustrated it with graphite and sumi ink and then colored it in photoshop. To match the inky look of the illustration, I also created the header for the page.
